Irakli Shakiashvili, Deputy Head of the Legal Department of the Georgian Competition and Consumer Agency (GCCA), participated in a seminar hosted by the OECD-GVH RCC.
The seminar "Tools for increasing efficiency in antitrust enforcement" took place in Podgorica, Montenegro. The main objective of the seminar was to ensure the effective implementation of competition policy, exchange experiences among participants, and share outstanding practical examples from experts. During the event, participants reviewed internationally acknowledged practices of market research, discussed the risks of infractions and preventive tactics, as well as dawn raids and sanction procedures. Representatives from various competition authorities, international organizations, and industry experts attended the event.
