The Georgian Competition and Consumer Agency (GCCA) has signed a commitment agreement with “SOCAR Georgia Petroleum” LLC in favor of consumers in the wholesale and retail trade sector of petroleum products.
Under the agreement, LLC “SOCAR Georgia Petroleum” is obligated to:
- Notify consumers in the Georgian language, clearly and comprehensibly via text messages, at least 30 calendar days in advance of any changes to the “Energy Card” loyalty program terms, including discounts and point accrual.
- Provide regular text message updates to consumers on accumulated points and available bonuses under the loyalty program.
The company has been granted one month to implement these obligations.
