The Georgian Competition and Consumer Agency (GCCA) has adopted a decision declaring inadmissible the complaint submitted by LLC “Lazaros 2022” on 20 November 2025.
The complaint alleged a violation by LLC “Dios” of Article 11³ of the Law of Georgia on Competition, specifically an act of unfair competition allegedly arising from the unlawful use of the “BARRISOL” trademark.
Following a comprehensive assessment of the information and evidence provided at the admissibility review stage, the Agency concluded that the complaint failed to meet the statutory material admissibility requirements. In particular, GCCA determined that there was no reasonable suspicion of a violation of the Law of Georgia on Competition and, accordingly, found no basis for initiating an investigation.
