The Chairman of the Georgian Competition and Consumer Agency (GCCA), Irakli Lekvinadze, together with Agency employees, reviewed the Agency’s achievements for 2025 and discussed its strategic priorities and planned activities for 2026.
During the meeting, Irakli Lekvinadze outlined the key initiatives planned for 2026 in the areas of competition policy enforcement, consumer rights protection, and institutional strengthening. He further reviewed, together with participants, the planned activities designed to ensure the effective and timely implementation of these strategic priorities.
Particular attention was devoted to the GCCA’s 2025-2027 Institutional Development Strategy. Participants were informed about the activities implemented within the framework of the Strategy, the results achieved to date, and the measures planned for the forthcoming period. In addition, Agency employees were introduced to the Anti-Corruption Code of Conduct approved in 2026, which is designed to enhance professional standards within the Agency and to promote a transparent and non-discriminatory working environment.
The meeting was also addressed by the Deputy Chairman of the Agency, Levan Kalandadze, who underscored the importance of teamwork in ensuring effective institutional performance and the successful delivery of the Agency’s mandate.
In the second part of the meeting, the Consumer Rights Protection Department briefed participants on the activities and international events planned by the Agency in the context of ICPEN’s 2026-2027 Presidency.
The meeting also covered discussions on the development strategy of the Agency’s Training Research Center, including the planned educational and research initiatives.
The meeting concluded with an open discussion, during which participants exchanged views on the Agency’s future priorities and key directions for development.
