Elene Tskhomelidze, Head of the Anti-Dumping Measures Department of the Georgian Competition and Consumer Agency (GCCA), participated in an international conference held in Budapest, Hungary.
The conference, organised on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the Hungarian Competition Authority and entitled “GVH 35 - National, EU and Global Aspects of Competition Law”, provided a platform for participants to examine contemporary challenges in competition law, the role of international cooperation, regulatory issues in digital markets, and prevailing trends in the development of competition policy.
The event also marked the 8th meeting of the Hungarian Competition Law Forum, which constitutes an established international platform for dialogue among professionals in the field of competition law and policy.
The conference brought together senior representatives of competition authorities, international organisations, academia, and other stakeholders from multiple jurisdictions, fostering the exchange of expertise and best practices.
