The initiative was organised by the Agency’s Training Research Center and implemented in selected schools across the region. In this framework, GCCA representatives visited Public School N 3 in the city of Tsnori (Sighnaghi Municipality) and the Public School in the village of Gamardjveba (Dedoplistskaro Municipality).
During the meetings, Agency representatives delivered structured discussions on consumer rights in both online and offline transactions, mechanisms for the protection and enforcement of consumer rights, and the role of competition in ensuring consumer protection.
The sessions were conducted in an interactive format, encouraging active participation by students. Through practical examples, participants were provided with a clear understanding of how effective competition contributes to the development of a fair, transparent, and competitive market environment.
The initiative is implemented by the Georgian Competition and Consumer Agency in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia.
