GCCA's Training Research Centre holds 51 informational and educational sessions for Public School students across Tbilisi and the Regions, reaching nearly 1,500 participants

Representatives of the Training Research Centre of the Georgian Competition and Consumer Agency (GCCA) conducted 51 informational and educational sessions with public school students across Tbilisi and the regions, with the participation of nearly 1,500 students throughout the current year.

The project is being implemented by the GCCA in close partnership with the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, with the objective of delivering structured informational sessions on competition policy and consumer rights to students of public educational institutions.

Over the course of the current year, sessions were held not only in the capital city but also across the regions of Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Kakheti, Imereti, Guria, Adjara, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, Samtskhe-Javakheti, and Kvemo Kartli. Within the framework of the programme, the informational campaign was extended to border-area schools, with particular emphasis placed on ensuring their meaningful and active participation in the initiative.

As part of the project, a digital feedback mechanism was successfully implemented across 24 schools, enabling students to assess the knowledge and experience gained during each session immediately upon its conclusion via QR code. This approach yielded a measurable increase in youth engagement and participation, rendering the process more interactive and dynamic in character. Analysis of digital questionnaires completed by students across participating schools confirmed a strongly positive reception of the project, providing the Training Research Centre with a valuable basis upon which to further align the programme with the needs and expectations of young people.

The majority of respondents rated the presenter's engagement with the audience and the overall standard of organisational delivery as high. Furthermore, most students indicated their intention to actively apply the knowledge acquired through the programme in practice.

With a view to the future, the Agency's Training Research Centre plans to significantly expand the educational campaign from September of the current year onwards, with the objective of engaging the greatest possible number of public schools and students across the country. To further enhance the effectiveness of the sessions, the Centre intends to introduce innovative, interactive pedagogical methods, thereby contributing to the advancement of awareness and the development of practical competencies among the younger generation.
