On the initiative of the GCCA’s Training Research Centre, representatives of the Georgian Competition and Consumer Agency (GCCA) held an online informational meeting with students of the Faculty of Economics and Business of Batumi State University. The principal subjects of discussion encompassed the protection of competition and consumer rights, recent legislative developments, and significant decisions adopted by the Agency in the course of its enforcement activities.
Particular attention was devoted to the principles of safe trade in both online and offline markets, aiming to enhance students’ awareness of consumer rights and responsibilities and to enable them to make informed purchasing decisions. At the conclusion of the meeting, Agency representatives responded to questions raised by participants, fostering an open and constructive exchange.
The GCCA remains committed to the active implementation of educational initiatives at higher education institutions across Tbilisi and the regions.
