A memorandum of mutual cooperation has been concluded between the Georgian Competition and Consumer Agency (GCCA), the Georgian National Communications Commission (ComCom), the Public Defender of Georgia, and the Youth Agency of Georgia. The document was signed by Levan Kalandadze, Deputy Chairman of the GCCA; Levan Ioseliani, Public Defender of Georgia; Ana Bukhrashvili, Acting Head of the Youth Agency of Georgia, and Ani Vazagashvili, Member of the Georgian National Communications Commission.
The memorandum aims to establish a framework for structured cooperation among the parties, with a view to strengthening youth centres and spaces in municipalities, supporting their strategic development, ensuring effective communication with young people, and enhancing youth awareness of available state services. Pursuant to the memorandum, the signatory public institutions will conduct educational and informational meetings and seminars, within the scope of their respective competences, in 12 pilot municipalities: Poti, Adigeni, Zestaponi, Kutaisi, Khelvachauri, Dusheti, Akhmeta, Khashuri, Zugdidi, Lanchkhuti, Ozurgeti, and Rustavi.
Young people will have the opportunity to engage in a diverse range of activities and to avail themselves of the relevant state services offered in the framework of this initiative.
