GCCA representatives conduct informational meetings with member organisations of "Women for the Future" and the "eCommerce Association of Georgia" on consumer rights protection

The Training Research Centre of the Georgian Competition and Consumer Agency (GCCA) organised a series of informational meetings between Agency representatives and member organisations of "Women for the Future" and the "eCommerce Association of Georgia", dedicated to consumer rights protection.

During the meetings, Agency representatives provided participants with a comprehensive overview of consumers' statutory rights and the obligations of traders under applicable consumer protection legislation. The sessions included a joint review of practical case examples and the standards established by the GCCA, with particular emphasis on the regulatory requirements governing the e-commerce sector.

The meetings formed part of the Agency's broader commitment to promoting a culture of compliance within the business community, with the aim of improving the quality of services provided to consumers and ensuring the effective implementation of the standards prescribed by applicable consumer protection legislation.
