Following legal action taken and a financial sanction imposed by the Georgian Competition and Consumer Agency, LLC “Isurve” has fully restored the violated rights of 182 consumers.
Having examined the matter, the Agency found that, on 24 April of this year, LLC “Isurve” had engaged in unfair commercial practices, in infringement of the Law of Georgia on the Protection of Consumer Rights. On this basis, the trader was instructed to remedy the infringement and restore consumers’ violated rights.
As the trader did not fulfil the obligations imposed within the established deadline, the Agency applied the sanction provided for by law and imposed a fine of GEL 115 396.
On 19 June 2026, a repeat infringement by LLC “Isurve” was confirmed, on the basis of which the trader was once again instructed to bring its trade policy into conformity with the requirements of the law and to restore consumers’ violated rights.
Under the law, a trader that commits a repeat infringement within a twelve-month period is liable to a fine of twice the sum originally imposed. Accordingly, in light of the foregoing, had the trader failed to fulfil its obligations once again and continued the infringement, LLC “Isurve” would have faced a doubled financial sanction.
Fulfilment of these obligations by the trader entailed refunding consumers and delivering the ordered parcels. The Agency verified and confirmed, on the basis of individual communication with each consumer, that the trader had restored their violated rights.
Accordingly, the obligations imposed on LLC “Isurve” by the Agency’s decisions have been fulfilled in full.
