Closing informational meeting held in Tskaltubo within the framework of the 4th International Consumer Protection Week

A closing informational meeting was held in Tskaltubo within the framework of the 4th International Consumer Protection Week.


Welcome remarks were delivered by Irakli Lekvinadze, Chairman of the Georgian Competition and Consumer Agency; Vladimer Bozhadze, Member of the Parliament of Georgia; Genadi Balanchivadze, Mayor of Tskaltubo Municipality; David Onoprishvili, Head of the Insurance State Supervision Service of Georgia and Davit Narmania, Chairman of the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission.


As part of the meeting, an informational session entitled “How consumers can protect their rights - where to apply and in what form” was held, providing an overview of the practical mechanisms for consumer rights protection and outlining the role of the relevant public institutions in ensuring their effective enforcement.


Local residents were given the opportunity to engage directly with representatives of the regulatory authorities and discuss issues of interest related to consumer rights protection.


Within the framework of the 4th International Consumer Protection Week, meetings were held in Tbilisi, Gardabani, Gori, Batumi and Tskaltubo.
