The Georgian Competition and Consumer Agency made a decision on the admissibility of the application of the "Georgian Manufacturers Association", dated April 5and the initiation of the anti-dumping investigation. The case concerns the alleged dumping of products imported from Iran and the Russian Federation into Georgia's customs jurisdiction. According to the Agency's decision, after assessing the application's material admissibility, it was concluded that the information given on dumping, injury, and cause is adequate to initiate an anti-dumping investigation. The study focused on rebar and coils constructed of low-carbon steel via hot rolling, produced in Iran and the Russian Federation and imported into Georgia.
