On December 29, 2022, the National Competition Agency of Georgia completed the case investigation launched based on the application of citizen Lasha Gabunia related to the alleged violation of the Georgian Law on “Consumer Rights Protection” by “Dream World” Ltd.
Within the framework of the case study, the Agency accepted the conditional commitments offered by the merchant and considered that the risk of the future alleged violation of the law is eliminated based on the fulfillment of the obligations assumed by “Dream World” Ltd.
The merchant undertook to change the internal policy of his activity and restore the violated rights of the consumers. Accordingly, the Agency signed the conditional commitment agreement with the trader and completed the case study without assessing the fact of the alleged violation of the law.
