Irakli Shakiashvili, Deputy Head of the Legal Department of the Georgian Competition and Consumer Agency (GCCA), participated in the international business forum “NextGen Business Forum 2026”.
In the framework of the panel discussion entitled “State and Global Policy”, Irakli Shakiashvili delivered a substantive address on the fundamental importance of state competition policy in fostering the country’s economic development and ensuring a well-functioning competitive environment across markets.
The forum was organised in the framework of a cooperative arrangement between the Saint Andrew the First-Called Georgian University of the Patriarchate of Georgia (SANGU) and Northern Kentucky University (United States of America).
The event brought together representatives of the Government of Georgia, leading financial institutions, the business community, and international companies.
