Employees of the National Competition Agency are attending the training On the Rights of Persons with Disabilities
Based on the 2021 Action Plan for the Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, developed by the National Competition Agency of Georgia, employees of the Agency attend a working meeting on the rights of persons with disabilities, on December 20, up to 25. The online training holds by representatives of the Coalition for Independent Living.
In 2020, the Parliament of Georgia adopted the Law of Georgia on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, which aims to determine the legal status of persons with disabilities, to create legislative guarantees to protect their rights and freedoms and to reflect the basic principles and values of the Convention in Georgian legislation. Existing law - imposes administrative obligations on administrative bodies, including the Georgian National Competition Agency.
