The Georgian Competition and Consumer Agency completed a case study concerning an alleged violation of the Law of Georgia on the Protection of Consumer Rights by a natural person Natia Aslanikashvili (P/N 62202011551).

After evaluating the case circumstances and examining the submitted evidence, it was confirmed that the trader violated its primary obligation to provide consumers with necessary information, and failed to meet the agreed delivery deadlines for goods. According to the Agency’s decision, the trader was given a month to align its trading policy with the relevant articles of the law.

Case of “Inex Group”

The Georgian Competition and Consumer Agency has established a violation of the Law of Georgia on the Protection of Consumer Rights by LLC "Inex Group." Specifically, the Agency deemed the company's practice of requesting information or documents from consumers, not stipulated in its trade policy, to constitute a misleading and unfair commercial practice resulting from inaction.

According to the Agency’s decision, the trader was given a month to align its trading policy with the relevant articles of the law.

As a result of assessing the case circumstances and reviewing the presented evidence, it was confirmed that the trader violated the primary obligation to provide information to the consumer and failed to meet the agreed delivery deadline for the goods.

Case of Ind. Entrepreneur Natia Neparidze

Entrepreneur Natia Neparidze (P/N 41001029560). As a result of assessing the case circumstances and reviewing the presented evidence, it was confirmed that the trader violated the primary obligation to provide information to the consumer and failed to meet the agreed delivery deadline for the goods.

As a result of assessing the case circumstances and reviewing the presented evidence, it was confirmed that the trader violated the primary obligation to provide information to the consumer and failed to meet the agreed delivery deadline for the goods.
